Collaborating once again with legendary filmmaker Denis Villeneuve, we ushered in another title for the Dune films. We wanted to create something futuristic and otherworldly like nothing we’ve ever seen before, and at the same time make it feel like Paul’s dream. In the Dune stories “thinking machines” were banned thousands of years prior, so we wanted to explore an analog approach. Armed with some incredible footage shot by Greg Fraser for the films, we got to work painting a dreamy sci-fi title.
